Them Atelier, uno dei brand avangarde più affermati della scena contemporary internazionale ha debuttato a White con una speciale presentazione tra moda e arte.
A White in Via Tortona 27, Artist Series ha messo in mostra il lavoro di Orta Anodolu, il gruppo che raccoglie artisti e creativi che hanno dato vita ad una vera e propria factory. Scopo dell’evento proposto è stato quello di promuovere il lavoro manuale fatto sui capi esclusivi, dai lavaggi particolari eseguiti con ingredienti naturali agli stessi tessuti haut de gamme.
Fondato nel 2009 da Brian Kim e Olga Nazarova, due artisti di Los Angeles, noti sulla scena dell’avanguardia americana, Them Atelier ha immediatamente incontrato i favori dei più importanti buyers del mondo. Concettuale e sofisticato, anticonformista e ribelle quanto basta, Them Atelier sigla cinque modelli di jeans abbinati a top e t-shirt realizzati con materiali ricercati trattati con tecniche particolari e dettagli couture.
L’accurata scelta degli artisti per eseguire i lavaggi sul denim ha dato un approccio stimolante e innovativo alla finitura del materiale. Tra gli artisti che hanno contribuito al progetto: Ishi Glinsky, Bozly, Sam Spencer, Krissy Morrison, Chir Yniguez, Alice Wilsey; in attesa di iniziare altre collaborazioni con autori contemporary del calibro di Terence Koh e Tofer Chin.

On Sunday 25th September from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, in via Tortona 27, Artist Series showed the work of Orta Anodolu, the group that consists in artists and designers which gave birth to a proper Factory. The event aimed at promoting the manual working of exclusive garments, whose prestigious fabrics were specially washed with natural ingredients.
Established in 2009 by Brian Kim and Olga Nazarova, two artists from New York, known in the American vanguard scene, Them Atelier has right off encountered the favors of the most important buyers in the world. Conceptual and sophisticated, nonconformist and rebellious just enough Them Atelier signs five models of denim combined with a top and t-shirt realized with refined materials treated with particular techniques and couture details.
The accurate choice of the artists to wash the denim has given an exciting and innovative approach to finish of garments.
Among the artists that contributed to the project: Glinsky, Bozly, Sam Spencer, Krissy Morrison, Chir Yniguez, Alice Wilsey. Other collaborations with contemporary authors of the likes of Terence Koh and Tofer Chin are coming soon.
