BOB SDRUNK SUNGLASSES

Filosofia | Ho ricercato materiali di altri tempi per poter ricreare un gusto ed uno stile retrò. Ho avuto il piacere di poter produrre questi occhiali in Italia con le mani sapienti di Mastri occhialai, i quali hanno potuto esprimersi al massimo della loro esperienza. La seconda parte dell’anima l’ho pensata attraverso una sola parola, “easy”, e tutto gira intorno a questa parola. Il mondo easy deve essere preso alla lettera, recepibile da tutti, e comprensibile per tutti. L’espressione e’ unicamente lo stile ed il colore, l’unico linguaggio che tutti possono comprendere. Sempre in collaborazione con i Mastri occhialai, ho realizzato oggetti con linee e forme molto easy, supportati da un’infinità di colori, che rendono la collezione veramente…”EASY (Rainbow colors)”.

Collezione | Gli occhiali di Bob Sdrunk sono un prodotto artigianale made in Italy. Nella produzione la mano dell’uomo è preponderante rispetto alla macchina e la massima attenzione è posta nella scelta dei materiali e delle lenti: viene usato solo il meglio di quello che offre il mercato, ovvero, per la montatura, l’acetato di cellulosa, mentre le lenti sono in CR39, lo stesso materiale usato per le lenti correttive. La continua sperimentazione di materiali innovativi ha portato alla realizzazione di occhiali con montatura in legno e la ricerca non si ferma, sempre volta alla scoperta di nuovi esclusivi materiali studiati per rispondere alle esigenze di ogni consumatore.

Philosophy | I’ve searched for other age materials in order to re-create a retrò style. I’ve had the pleasure to manufacture these eyeglasses in Italy with the wise hands of Master eyeglass-makers, who were able to express themselves at their best of their experience. For the second part I just thought one word, “easy”, and everything goes around this simple word. The “easy” world must be taken verbatim and must be understandable by everyone. Expression is only made by style and color, the only true language that everybody can understand. Always in collaboration with the Master eyeglass-makers, I’ve created abjects with very easy lines and shapes, with an infinite array of colors, that makes the collection really… “EASY (Rainbow colors)”.

Collection | Bob Sdrunk glasses are hand-crafed and made in Italy. In the production process the traditional manufacturing prevails the machine work and materials and lens are chosen accurately: only the best materials on the market are employed. Cellulose acetate for the mount and CR39 for the lens, the same material of corrective lens. The ongoing experimentation of innovative materials led to realize glasses with wooden frames and the research continues, always aiming at discovering new exclusive materials designed to fulfil every customer’s needs.
