Nello scenario underground e discreto del Basement di Superstudio Più, Fagassent presenterà a White dal 23 al 25 giugno 2012, la nuova collezione Uomo primavera/estate 2013.

Attraverso lo studio del denim declinato in svariate soluzioni, il brand maschile anglo-nipponico mescola il mood londinese e contemporaneo dell’East London all’energia e l’elettricità di Okayama. Fagassent nasce nel 2010 dalla mente creativa del designer Giapponese Toshiki Aoki e non è altro che una rappresentazione del suo movimento continuo tra queste due città.

La collezione presentata a White si ispira al romanzo cult The Shining, scritto da Stephen King e attraverso quell’atmosfera il designer reinterpreta e trasferisce in tutti i suoi capi quel senso di solitudine e follia raccontato tra le pagine del libro. Unendo l’energia creativa e la cultura della moda londinese con il rigore e l’artigianato giapponese, il designer utilizza lini robusti e denim. Questo tessuto come una tela, riceve e assorbe schizzi di colore e frasi disegnate trasformando i capi in vere e proprie opere d’arte. Il designer diventa artista a tutti gli effetti.

La collezione che verrà presentata a White giungo 2012 avrà per questo una storia da raccontare, lasciando libera interpretazione allo spettatore che non potrà fare a meno di notare l’intenso processo creativo che caratterizza Fagassent.

In the underground and discreet set of the Basement at Superstudio Più, Fagassent will present at White, from the 23d to the 25th of June 2012, the new men’s collection spring/summer 2013.

Through the study of denim, declined in various solutions, the Anglo-Japanese brand mixes the contemporary mood from East London with the energy and electricity of Okayama. Fagassent was founded in 2010 by the creative mind of Toshiki Aoki, the Japanese designer who sums up nothing but a representation of his continuous travels between this two cities.

The collection presented at White takes inspiration from the cult novel The Shining, written by Stephen King. It is through this atmosphere that the designer reinterpreted and transfered in his garments that sense of loneliness and madness recounted in the pages of the book. By combining the creative energy and culture of the London fashion scene with the rigor and craft of Japan, the designer uses robust linens and denim. This last fabric as a canvas, receives and absorbs splashes of colors and painted sentences transforming the garment in a true work of art. The designer becomes an artist in every aspect.

The collection that will be presented at White June 2012 will therefore have a story to tell, leaving liberal interpretation to the viewer who cannot help but notice how intense and creative is the process that characterizes Fagassent.
