White settembre ha presentato nell’esclusiva area del Basement The Loser Project, marchio di abbigliamento e accessori fondato nel 2004 da Rui Duarte, lo stilista con base a Parigi e attivo anche tra Berlino e Lisbona.

Una collezione di accessori inconfondibili e anticonvenzionali che trae ispirazione dalla tradizione della costruzione navale, pelletteria nata dalla razionalizzazione dei volumi e dalle prestazioni elevate necessarie al trasporto delle merci.

Il risultato sono pezzi esclusivi, realizzati a mano e di alta qualità che si svincolano dall’uso di colle o cuciture.
Come punto di ispirazione si ha l’estetica della scuola tedesca Bauhaus da cui, Rui Duarte prende spunto per proporre clutches, borse shopping e borse da viaggio che assomigliano ad elementi architettonici in miniatura.

Le pelli, provenienti dall’Italia, seguono processi di tintura, branding e lavaggio, garantendo così, un’elevata qualità dei prodotti grazie al controllo costante al quale è sottoposta la produzione.

Particolare attenzione anche per i dettagli: cerniere e borchie sono realizzate in materiali preziosi come oro, argento e rame e vengono prodotte esclusivamente per la produzione di The Loser Project.

Dal 22 al 24 settembre Rui Duarte ha presentato nell’intimo contesto del basement di White la sua collezione di accessori unici, nati per durare nel tempo e attraverso le stagioni.

White September hosted in the exclusive area of The Basement The Loser Project, a brand of clothing and accessories founded in 2004 by Rui Duarte, the designer based in Paris and also active in Berlin and Lisbon.

A collection of unique and unconventional accessories inspired by the tradition of shipbuilding, leather goods created by the rationalization of the volumes and high performance necessary for the transport of goods.

The results are exclusive pieces, handmade with high quality and free from the use of glues and stitching.
The inspiration comes from the aesthetic of the Bauhaus school in Germany where, Rui Duarte was proposed clutches, travel bags and shopping bags that looked like miniature architectural elements.

The leathers from Italy, followed by dyeing processes, branding and washing, guarantee high product quality through a continuous monitoring.

Particular attention to the details: zippers and studs are made from precious materials like gold, silver and copper and are produced exclusively for The Loser Project.
